The Yobel Project

Brokenshire College - Toril (BCT) is a non-stock non-profit community college established in July 31, 2003 as a branch of the Brokenshire College System. It is a church related institution associated with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP). It is committed to living a life of faith, learning and action as it serve as an arm of the teaching ministry of the UCCP.


Brokenshire College - Toril is a learning organization committed in the pursuit and diffusion of knowledge through instruction, research and extension programs.

The Brokenshire College - Toril campus is located at Purok Pagkakaisa (Read:Unity), Lubogan, Toril Davao City, Philippines. Brokenshire College - Toril offers the following courses

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Caregiver NCII (1026 hrs)
  
• High School (HS 1 - 4)
• Grade School (Gr 1 - 6)
• Pre School (K1 - 3)

In the Bible the term yobel refers to the blast of the shofar on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, announcing the jubilee year. It is the instrument that announces good news, the yovel (Hebrew), which refers to the Jubilee. The word Jubilee, has its roots from yobel.

The “Yobel” therefore is the instrument that Brokenshire College-Toril would use to announce good news to everyone. This online version of our newsletter is another milestone that our community is proud to have worked for. It is our objective to reach out to friends, alumni and people around the world. We wish them to know of what we have experienced and the things that we do .We wish to publicizes the life and works of our small but dynamic community.
